-It also means that most vehicles unless scanned will be undetected.
-If dampeners become important, than the suits with the most lowslots and ehp to spare equipping them (gallente/amarr) will be the best suits for stealthiness. |

Yeah but shields are going to need two low slots for regulators, one for reppers and that leaves one slot for dampeners. I am looking at an assault minmatar suit and hmmmmm? Shotgun nova knifes Built in repper. So one complex kin-cat and one complex dampener and very fast movement. Or hmmmm heavy suit repper kin cat dampener and nova knifes?? hmmmmm Lots of new options.
And shield tankers are already strapped for CPU. So throwing an extra 20-30 CPU requirement just for being able to sneak around wouldn't seem as good of a payoff as a kincat, stammod, or an armor repairer in that same slot. |

Nothing beats being able to sneak around dropping remote explosive "gifts"
I was messing with this yesterday and am convinced that it is key to beating the zerg-swarm. It takes some practice, and is probably best on the faster suits than the amarr-logi which is what I have. I think they need to work on the way grenades and mines hit things when you are aiming down though. Often I'm above something trying to throw a grenade and it will just bounce off of mid-air like there was floor I didn't see. |

It just seems like suits with <3 slots wouldn't be wise to fit them, unless they already had some high base HP (amarr logi), or they had the speed already that sacrificing a slot for another kincat/stammod would be okay (scout).
BTW for medium suits:
MLT/STD dampeners or dampening V will hide you from STD scanners. ONLY PRO dampener AND dampening V will hide you from most ADV scanners. and hiding from PRO scanners is nearly impossible unless you use all 3 lowslots. |
